3. Results

The three stage filtering procedure to propose attributions has been regularly used by our group since March 1999 and has resulted so far in 1,626 attributions accepted and published by the MPC. In this section we discuss the procedure for selecting, among the attributions confirmed by least squares fit, the ones to be submitted to the MPC, and present an analysis of the submissions and publications until May 2000. Table 2 contains a summary of all of the object identifications submitted by our group since March 1999 and of those published by the MPC.
